There are times when the stress of life can be painful, confusing, or even crushing. If this is you, counseling can help you find the answers.
I view counseling as a healing relationship. First, let’s get comfy. I work with my clients to create a base of hope and safety. Secondly, I strive to provide current and helpful therapy. Then, together, we can address the life stressors that keep you from experiencing all that life offers. These stressors may include relationships, betrayal, trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, grief and loss, or addictions as well as other challenges. We are not a medical facility and therefore do not address detox from drugs or alcohol.
Please note that I do not accept any insurance plans.
While my personal Christian values and principles shape my worldview and how I relate with people I also believe that each person is entitled to their own belief system. This may create questions for you. “Do I need to be a Christian to receive counseling here?” or “Will you try to make me become a Christian if I receive counseling here?” The answer to both questions is “No!” My worldview gives me a core belief in each person’s real value no matter what their past or present context may be.
The most important thing to know is that I will respect your spiritual beliefs and values. I will meet each person with same care, compassion, and integrity without regard to their individual belief system.
